Dated: June 2015

Location: Columbus Square, Manhattan

I took my daily lunch walk across the north part of central park and back to 57th. Around Columbus square, my peripherals spotted a cop car signaling on the side of the road. Right next to it an Ice Cream Truck. When I got closer, it got clear.

The Ice Cream Truck owner has just gotten a Ticket from the Cop for his quick stop. It was funny because it shows money going out at the same time money comes in on the other side. I aimed a few seconds for the perfect moment, took this shot and kept walking back to work.

The Canvas is a full-color print because of the orange ticket which I left out as the only color spot when hand edited the rest around it in old school black and white to make it look out of time as if it would have occurred in the 50’s or 60’s.  This is one of my favorite photos ever taken.
